Must obtain A+, Network+ or Security + Certification within 6 Months of Date of Hire

*Experience with support of for Microsoft operating systems (i.e., Windoes XP/2K)

Experience in Systems Administration specifically to support Active Directory, Exchange, and Antivirus software administration and VMware Virtual Infrastructure

*Intermediate level understanding of Active Directory.

Must be abpe to troubleshoot and diagnose computer hardware/software technical issues, including resolution of problems with hardware, software, local area networks (LANs), and servers

*Excellent communication and customer interface skills

Position will primarily be 1st shift - however candidate must be available to work weekends and/or after normal duty hours in the event of an emergency. Desired skills Current Microsoft MCSE, MCSA or W2K8 certification

A+; Network+ and/or Security+ Certification

5+ years Systems Administration experience working in an Enterprise Level Environment

Systems Analyst/Administrator
•Perform troubleshooting at 2 levels of complexity to resolve problems related to Active Directory, users account, file share, Security groups, VPN access, server hardware, operating systems, messaging and related components.
•Provide Technical support for System problems that are escalated to Level 2 support.
•Provide configuration, administration and support of Server OS & hardware, DNS, WINS, Active Directory, domain accounts and groups, mailboxes, remote access, virtual servers in accordance with Army standards.
•Perform Active Directory security assessments to protect Security groups, user account, email accounts, and computer accounts.
•Perform security assessments to fulfill compliance to protect servers, applications and data as required by DIACAP Requirements.
•Assist in monitoring system performance and functionality. Identify and resolve problems where possible, and report problems to appropriate staff for resolution where necessary.
•Monitor System Center Operations Manager for critical alerts and correct those deficiencies.
•Assist in development and implementation of data and system related standards, procedures and guidelines.
•Communicate problem resolution, outstanding issues and other business related information to Level 3 and management.
•Carry out other duties as assigned by the Director in support of the overall mission and goals of the Department.
•Utilize Windows Server and Scripting skills
•Respond to On-Call pages in a timely manner

Typical Minimums Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 5 years of professional experience; or 3 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree. Considered career, or journey, level.
