Job Description
I. General Summary:
This position is responsible for managing, designing, and running social media marketing campaigns which directly support the Company’s branding standards, drive sales, and create consumer retention.

II. Essential Job Functions:*
1. Manage the creation and maintenance of marketing campaigns across social media including facebook, twitter, youtube, linkedin, myspace, and blogs.
2. Facilitate social media conversations, and contribute ideas for new content.
3. Assist in the testing and optimization of new venues to reach customers.
4. Measure and report results of marketing strategies.
5. Coordinate the creation of podcasts, wikis, and product updates.
6. Work closely with marketing team to select areas of focus.
7. Monitor social media sites and actively participate in positive promotion of Company products and services.

III. Supportive Job Functions:*
1. Identify and evaluate changes is site traffic.

IV. Knowledge, Skill, and Abilities:
1. Ability to communicate with individuals at all levels in the company and with various business contacts outside of the company in an articulate, professional manner.
2. Outstanding writing, editing, proofreading, grammar, spelling and punctuation skills.
3. Excellent time management, organization, and prioritization skills. Must be able to multi-task to meet strict deadlines.
4. Self-direction, tact, diplomacy, and a courteous and professional demeanor.
5. Ability to be meticulous with accuracy and detail.
6. Must be deadline sensitive and adaptable to change.
7. Must be a team player.
8. Extensive knowledge of search engines and a thorough understanding of social media network nuances and jargon.
9. Ability to use MS Word, Outlook, Creative Suite applications, and Internet.

V. Education, Experience, and Certification:
1. Bachelor’s degree in English, Public Relations, Journalism or equivalent required.*
2. 3 to 5 years previous relevant marketing, advertising, or public relations experience is required.*
3. Previous experience with social media campaigns (web feeds, blogs, forums, podcasts, etc.) is preferred.

*Minimum requirements needed to perform the job.

VI. Scope of Job:
1. 2 to 3 direct or indirect reports.
2. No supervisory responsibility; General supervision received.
3. Working conditions are good, with minimal travel and a consistent workweek.
4. Errors are readily detected.
5. Contact with others inside entire company and outside is regular and frequent.
6. No access to confidential data.
7. No overall budget responsibility
8. No variable pay (bonus, incentive, commission) plan
Qualifications: Education, Experience, and Certification:
